Terms of Sale

These terms apply to every order placed on sunskipper.com ("SunSkipper", "we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country you live in.

1. Products and descriptions

We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Images of the canopy on a boat are illustrations; the exact look on your boat depends on its rigging and deck layout. If you are unsure whether SunSkipper fits your boat, ask us before ordering.

2. Prices and currency

Prices are shown in US dollars or Israeli shekels, depending on the currency you choose. The price, the shipping charge and the total are shown before you pay, and that is the amount charged. Prices do not include import duties or taxes charged by your country on arrival (see section 5).

3. Ordering and payment

Payment is taken at checkout by our payment provider, Stripe. Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed. We never see or store your full card details. If we cannot fulfil an order — for example because an item is unexpectedly out of stock — we will tell you and refund the full amount paid.

4. Shipping

We ship worldwide for a flat $15 / ₪50 per order.Delivery times are estimates; see Shipping, Returns & Warranty. Responsibility for the goods passes to you on delivery.

5. Import duties and taxes

Orders delivered outside the country of dispatch may be subject to import duties, VAT or other charges set by the destination country. These are paid by the recipient. If a parcel is refused because of these charges, the return shipping cost may be deducted from any refund.

6. Returns

You may return a product within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the product price, provided it is unused, complete and, where possible, in its original packaging. Contact sales@sunskipper.com before returning anything. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the product is faulty or we sent the wrong item. Full details are on the returns page.

7. Warranty

Products are covered for 2 years from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, incorrect installation, modification, use while the boat is under way, or storm damage. See warranty details.

8. Safe use

SunSkipper is designed for use on a boat at rest — at anchor, on a mooring or in the marina. Take it down before getting under way and whenever strong wind is expected. You are responsible for rigging it securely and for the safety of your vessel and crew.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Changes and contact
